What does D voice actually do?

It records the calls that come into your clinic, the conversations in your consultation room and the exchanges in the exam room, then turns them into text and summarizes them. By the time a call ends, what the patient asked and how your staff answered is already written up, so nobody has to sit through a recording again. As of June 2026 it runs in 35 clinics and has processed 640,000 voice records.

Do staff still have to write up every consultation?

No. When a consultation ends, the conversation comes back split by speaker and summarized: which procedure the patient asked about, and how far your team went on pricing. Your consultation lead does not need to keep separate notes, and when staff change, the history stays with the clinic instead of walking out the door.

How is this different from a call-recording or call-center system?

Three things. First, call, consultation and clinical records do not sit in separate silos — they follow one patient. Second, it understands the procedure names, abbreviations and foreign-language questions people actually use in a clinic, which is exactly where general-purpose tools break down; our accuracy runs at 95%. Third, installing it involves no phone work. It connects to the lines and numbers you already have, so you never pause appointments or change your number.

Does it write up clinical notes as well?

Record the exam-room conversation and it comes back in the order you already chart: what the patient reported, what you observed, your assessment and the plan — standard SOAP structure. Review it, move it into your EMR, and we will match the format to your specialty.

What happens to calls that come in after hours?

At night and on weekends an AI answers instead, handling questions about hours, directions and availability, and leaving you the content of each call. The script and the range of answers are set per clinic. This is currently being prepared for general release, and we will walk you through the timing during a consultation.

Could patient audio end up outside the clinic?

The original recordings stay on a server inside your clinic. Only what is needed for summarizing and analysis is processed in the cloud, under HIPAA standards.
